INDEPENDENT CLAUDE LEARNING · NO AFFILIATION WITH ANTHROPIC PBC

Claude academy, AI certification or AI architect — start here

This is a free Claude academy built on the Socratic method: it asks what you would do, then spends your time on what you got wrong — whether you are aiming at AI certification, AI architect work, or just being the person who actually knows Claude.

We are an independent network. Nobody pays us to say nice things: not Anthropic, not a course platform, not a vendor with a certificate to sell. Nothing here is official documentation, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or reviewed by Anthropic or any other LLM. That independence is the point — it means we can tell you what actually works.

Two beliefs run through everything we built. The first: everybody learns differently and no way of learning is better than another, so we will never judge yours. The second: your coach remembers what you have learned and how you learned it, and adapts to both. Two kinds of respect, really — and the reason this is a dialogue rather than a monologue.

Everything below is the short version. Where it goes deeper, the link is in the text.

1 · Why bother learning Claude — and why here?

Knowing your way around Claude is fast becoming the prerequisite for being employable at all, first in tech and then in one profession after another. The numbers are not subtle, and neither is the gap between chatting with AI and working with it.

The full picture, with the numbers and how this compares with course platforms and ChatGPT study mode: Claude vs ChatGPT — why learn Claude.

2 · So what do you actually learn about Claude?

Six Claude tracks, in an order that is a dependency chain rather than a menu — each one assumes the one before it.

  1. Claude Foundations — what the machine is, and which surfaces you have.
  2. Prompting & Output Craft — how to prompt so the output comes out right.
  3. Context & Memory — how Claude remembers you and follows your way of working.
  4. Reliability, Security & Trust — how you make sure it is right, and safe.
  5. Tools & MCP — what Claude can work the world with.
  6. Agents & Orchestration — when the tools do the job themselves.

You cannot design a context window before you know what a token is, and you cannot judge whether an agent belongs in your stack before you can reason about tools and termination. The full chain — what each track assumes, and what you can do once you are through it — is on the six tracks, and why they are in this order. Would you rather read than talk it through? The same ground is written out as practitioner guides.

3 · And how do you learn it — what makes ClaudeMaster different?

Two things, and they are the same respect seen from two sides.

We never rank the route. Talk it through, drill a card, read a note, take a cold quiz round, listen instead of reading, speak your answer instead of typing it. Every route carries full weight as evidence. Someone who gets there in half the time by talking is not worse than someone who gets there by reading, and a format that happens to suit the system has no business deciding who counts as capable. More on many ways to learn, all of them valid.

Your coach remembers, and adapts. Every concept has a state for you, and that state decides what comes next: which question, how hard it is framed, how it is explained, and which surface you get it on. So a newbie and someone who has shipped swarms of agents meet the same idea in completely different ways — taken from what they have actually answered, not necessarily from what they declared about themselves. More on what personalization actually means.

What our Socrates will not do, for the record: read your code, claim to know your job, or take time spent as proof of anything. Respect comes from your motivation and the things you answer.

4 · Fine — but how do I know my Claude skills are improving?

Two numbers, and they tell you different things.

ClaudeGrinds (#) show the work you have put in — one grind for every piece of work you finish, scaled by how hard it was. Your ClaudeScore (%) shows the knowledge you have conquered on the level you are on, and it moves when you show you understand something. Effort earned, and knowledge conquered.

Above them sit four levels: ClaudeCapable, ClaudeFluent, ClaudeAdvanced and ClaudeMaster. Each has named requirements, concept by concept, that you either meet or you do not (yet :D). Master is tough because Master questions are tough — never because the route there was made awkward. The mechanics, per check and per level, are on how your Claude score and grinds are calculated.

5 · Who we are, and what we stand for

ClaudeMaster.ai constitutes the learning division of the ClaudeNetwork, itself a part of the International AI Strategy & Architect Network. What we stand for? Every form of learning that ever really worked had the same shape: someone who knows where you stand, choosing what you meet next.

It has always worked, and it has never scaled.

Mass education solved the scale by giving up the knowing. We think that trade is now optional, and refusing it is the whole reason ClaudeMaster.ai exists. We measure only understanding, and we get better at meeting people for every person we meet. The full position — including why we take the Socratic route rather than the persuasive one — is what we stand for.

Common questions

Is ClaudeMaster affiliated with Anthropic? No. ClaudeMaster is independent — not affiliated with, endorsed by or reviewed by Anthropic PBC, and not paid by any model vendor, course platform or certification body. Nothing here is official documentation, and anything version-specific should be checked against the vendor's own docs. Anthropic runs its own certification program, delivered through Pearson VUE — if that is what you need, go there. What we offer is different: a coach that remembers what you have shown you understand, and adapts to it.

Is ClaudeMaster free? Reading everything on the site is free and needs no account. Starting with the coach and keeping your progress requires signing in.

How long does it take to get good at Claude? There is no fixed course length, because there is no fixed course. Progress is measured per concept, so the time depends on what you already understand and how deep you want to go.

Do I need to be a developer? No. The six tracks run from what a language model actually is up to agent orchestration, so you can stop at the level your work requires.
